Freedom Wealth Lab
Freedom Wealth Lab is an independent personal-finance education website. We publish plain-English guides, honest tool and product comparisons, and free financial calculators to help everyday people make better money decisions — budgeting, saving, investing, insurance, taxes, real estate, side hustles, and financial independence. Everything here is designed to be read, understood, and acted on without needing a finance degree.
Why this site exists
Most people are never taught how money actually works. The information that exists is often either too basic to be useful or buried in jargon written for professionals. We started Freedom Wealth Lab to close that gap: to explain real financial concepts clearly, show the underlying math instead of hiding it, and give readers free tools that turn general advice into numbers that fit their own situation. Our goal is practical financial literacy — the kind you can use this week, not just admire in theory.
Who is behind Freedom Wealth Lab
Freedom Wealth Lab is run by a small independent team of personal-finance writers and researchers based in Singapore, publishing for a global and United States audience. We are enthusiasts and long-term self-directed investors who write about the strategies, tools, and mistakes we have studied and lived through ourselves. We are not licensed financial advisors, accountants, or attorneys, and we do not manage anyone’s money or sell financial advice. What we offer is careful, well-researched education — and we are transparent about that distinction on every page.
What we cover
How we keep content trustworthy
We write original content, cite the reasoning behind our numbers, and update guides as rates, rules, and products change. When we compare products, our opinions are our own and are never sold. Some links on the site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you if you sign up through them — this is how a free, reader-supported site pays for itself, and it never changes our editorial verdicts. You can read exactly how we operate in our Editorial Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
